These terms apply to your use of locstars.ai. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

locstars.ai is operated by Locstars LLC, a translation and localization company with offices in Sacramento, USA, and Giza, Egypt. “We” and “us” mean Locstars LLC. “You” means the person using the site, and the company you represent if you use it for work.

Our services are agreed separately

This site describes our services. It is not an offer to provide them on particular terms. We provide services only under a quote or agreement that you and we both accept, and those documents decide the scope, service level, timing, and deliverables.

Timing mentioned on this site, including same-day delivery, is confirmed only in a quote or order.

Descriptions of our process on this site explain how we normally work. The agreement for your services sets what we commit to, and it prevails over this site.

Information and examples on this site

We write the information on this site carefully, but it is general and may change. It is not legal, regulatory, or other professional advice.

Examples on this site, including the example quality report and example runs of the AI cycle, are illustrations of our format and method. They are not ratings of our work and do not promise a particular result for your content.

Free checks

The free check reviews up to 300 source words of AI or machine translation output that you already have, in a listed language pair with English or Arabic on one side. We offer one free check per company, and a company email address is required. Its findings are indicative and are not a rating of your full content. We may decline a request that falls outside these limits, and we will tell you by email if we do. Free-check findings are provided as is, for information, without any warranty.

Content you send us

When you send us text, files, or links through this site or by email:

You confirm that you have the right to send it to us and to let us work on it.
You keep all rights in it.
You allow us to use it to respond to your request, for example, to run a free check or prepare a quote.
Content is processed only through business AI services whose terms bar training on it.
Please don’t send personal data or content that is unlawful to share.

We delete your files on request, unless the law requires us to keep them. Email info@locstars.com.

Acceptable use

When you use this site, please don’t:

Send spam, malware, or automated form submissions
Try to break, overload, or get around the site’s security or spam protection
Copy the site’s content in bulk by automated means
Pretend to be another person or company
Send content you don’t have the right to share

We may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.

Intellectual property

The text, design, graphics, and code of this site belong to Locstars LLC or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own business use. Please don’t republish them without our written permission.

The source text in our example quality report is an original help article that Locstars wrote for that example, about a fictional product. The Locstars name and logo belong to Locstars LLC.

Other companies’ names and websites

We mention the names of translation management platforms, such as Phrase, XTM, Smartling, Crowdin, and Lokalise, only to say where we can work. Those names belong to their owners. Mentioning them does not mean those companies endorse us or have a business relationship with us.

Links to other websites are for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

The site as it is

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is.” We can’t promise that it will always be complete, current, or available without interruption.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Locstars LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our liability for services is set out in the agreement for those services.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and our cookie notice explains the technology this site uses. They are separate notices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
