Language pairs for our AI translation services

We offer AI translation services between English and each language below, in both directions: English to Spanish and Spanish to English, English to German and German to English, and so on. Arabic is also paired with every other language on the list, in both directions: Arabic to French and French to Arabic, for example.

Locstars has a dedicated team of native linguists for each language we offer. You run every pair through one program and one set of rules, instead of a separate vendor for each language.

Every pair in the table runs the same AI cycle and the same three service levels, whether it is English to Spanish translation for Spain or Latin America, English to German, or Arabic to Japanese. Every pair also has a no-AI route. For a pair without English, your quote sets out how we run the pair.

A dedicated team for each language

Locstars has a dedicated team of native linguists for each language we offer. Each linguist is a native speaker of the target language and a subject specialist. For translation into English, that means native English speakers.

The same team stays on your account, so the people who approved your glossary are the people who apply it. High-volume programs are normal business for us, in every language on the list.

Spanish for Spain and for Latin America

Spanish (Spain) and Latin American Spanish are separate target languages here. Vocabulary, forms of address, and conventions differ between them: a computer is usually an “ordenador” in Spain and a “computadora” in most of Latin America. Tell us which market each content type is for. If you publish for both, list both in your request, and your glossary holds the approved term for each.

Modern Standard Arabic and regional Arabic

We translate into Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) by default. It is the written standard that Arabic readers share across markets. For marketing and user-facing content, Gulf, Egyptian, and Levantine Arabic are available on request. Tell us which variant each content type needs, and your glossary holds the approved terms for each.

Right-to-left languages

Arabic reads right to left, and English product names, numbers, and placeholders often sit inside Arabic sentences. Automatic checks cover tags, placeholders, and numbers in every Arabic file, and locale checks cover Arabic punctuation, such as the Arabic comma (،) and question mark (؟). Every file comes back in your format, with its tags and placeholders intact.

Layout work on Arabic documents, such as desktop publishing (DTP), is handled at locstars.com (external site).

For a pair that is not listed, tell us the languages, the content type, and your approximate monthly volume, and we’ll come back to you with how we can run it.

Questions about languages

Do you translate into English as well as from it?

Yes. Every language we list is offered in both directions with English. Translation into English is done by native English speakers.

Do you pair Arabic with languages other than English?

Yes. Arabic is paired with every language on our list, in both directions: for example, Arabic to French and French to Arabic, or Arabic to Japanese and Japanese to Arabic. Your quote sets out how we run each pair without English.

Which Spanish do you translate into?

Both Spanish (Spain) and Latin American Spanish. They are separate target languages, so tell us which market each content type is for.

Which Arabic do you translate into?
